Yuma is synonymous with comfort, free trade, luxury goods from abroad. Yuma means foreigner. The term was originally used to refer exclusively to Americans. Currently, its concept includes European countries and citizens, sometimes it includes Cubans residing in these territories.

The opening of Wi-Fi hotspots in parks and squares in Cuba in 2016 has allowed the virtual communication of the people with the world. These promiscuous spaces in which they meet in order to communicate, eliminate individual privacy and force them to share, inadvertently, personal stories with the rest of those present. The work reveals dozens of conversations through which many Cubans project their lives, confront other realities, and idealize life outside the island.
