The viewer is taken on a journey as corpses are exhumed from the Colon Cemetery in Havana. Relatives seek out their loved ones in small, white cement boxes stacked in a dark, gloomy, never-ending labyrinthine reminiscent of a forgotten library of abandoned books. The treatment of the remains provokes questions concerning conservation, manipulation and challenges the concept of sacrality.
